Matt Johnson and Kim Schifino’s new PG14 project—described as a more synth-punk variant of the New York City-based duo’s 17-year-old career—will remain untouched this weekend when the duo better known as Matt and Kim returns to St. Petersburg for the first time since 2019.

Crowd surfing is not just allowed at their gigs, but it’s encouraged, so maybe keep your “Lego Movie 2”-loving kids at home Friday night.

Tickets to see Matt and Kim play Jannus Live in St. Petersburg on Friday, Sept. 15 are still available for $25.
