Minnesota folk singer Mason Jennings returns to Tampa on Friday

Before the Attic at Rock Brothers, Ybor City never really had a room that was appropriate for the quiet, introspective folk of Mason Jennings. We’re glad the prolific Minnesotan has found a home there. Jennings, supporting his 2018 album Songs From When We Met, hopefully has his bird paintings with him, but will definitely play another can’t-miss set. Do get there early to see Kristopher James play in support of his new album, Kindness Never Quits, which is one of the best new local releases of the year.

C Mason Jennings w/Kristopher James. Fri., Nov. 22. 8 p.m. Tickets start at $30. The Attic at Rock Brothers Brewing Co., Ybor City. rockbrothersbrewing.com
