ZOMG: American Football just released a brand new song — listen to “I’ve Been So Lost For So Long” now

New LP drops on Oct. 21

Fresh off an appearance at Atlanta’s Wrecking Ball music festival, emo patriarchs American Football have released a brand new song. And you thought the *Nsync reunion was good news.

“I’ve Been So Lost For So Long” clocks in at just under five-minutes long and is quintessential American Football that opens with soft, familiar guitar before frontman Mike Kinsella’s comforting croon kicks in to deliver a tale of a man lost and looking for reminders about why the hell we have to wake up everyday.

Fans will be delighted to learn that the band has also recorded a new, self-titled album set for release on October 21. Listen and see the tracklist below Pre-order the bands first album in almost two decades via Polyvinyl records (or just pick it up at your local record store when it comes out).
