Country music fans are going to have to put the Bud Light down, and they have Old Dominion to thank for that.
The Nashville-based outfit’s “Make It Sweet” recently hit No. 1 song on the Country Airplay Chart, and you can bet your ass that Old Dominion will play it during a November 1 show at the Yuengling Center in Tampa.
American Idol Scotty MccReery (he was on season 10) will open the show alongside Michigan songwriter Ryan Hurd, who’ll actually be turning 33 years old the day after the Tampa gig. Hurd is married to rising country star Maren Morris, and she has the date off, so here's to hoping she'll join hubby onstage at the show.
A November 3 show at The Amp in St. Augustine is the only other Florida show on the itinerary.
Tickets to see the “Break Up With Him” and “Snapback” band go on sale Friday, May 10 at 10 a.m. EDT. and will cost fans $35-$65.
Check out a new single, “Some People Do,” below, and get more information on the show via yuenglingcenter.com.
