Old-folk hardcore punk band Dead Mirrors plays Ybor City on Saturday

And there's a great young band, Roxx Revolt & The Velvets, at Crowbar, too.

Dead Mirrors
Tampa's Dead Mirrors—possibly the angriest band in the 813—will help you get your frustrations out with a good ol' rock show, and you're going to want to get there early to see why fans can't get enough of Roxx Revolt & The Velvets which is equally as rocking but with '70s NYC glam-meets-Manchester's-"24 Hour Party People"-scene vibes.

Opener Ghost Front features an all-star lineup with Adam Revak on drums, bassist Sean Pomeroy, guitarist Michael Ingold and surreal vocalist Kristina White while "think trash" act Mindwash rounds out the stacked lineup. (Mindwash frontman Laith Abdel is celebrating a birthday, so buy him tequila.)

There's been a few show cancellations at the Ybor City venue lately thanks to omicron, so if you go please mask up and tip the bartenders like the world is ending. Listen to the new one from Dead Mirrors (self-tagged "oldfolks") below.
