Old-school Christian metal group Stryper is coming to Clearwater this summer

Somehow, it's the band's first show in Clearwater.

Pioneering Christian metal group Stryper is bringing its latest run of shows to downtown Clearwater’s Bilheimer Capitol Theatre on Monday, May 23. After countless live shows in Florida over the course of the last 35-plus years, this will be the band’s Clearwater debut.

Tickets to see Stryper at the Bilheimer Capitol Theatre go on sale this Friday, and start at $25.

Ever since a 1985 stop at Jacksonville’s Florida Theatre, the state’s realest and fakest Christians alike have been packing local theaters and nightclubs to catch these guys live on a practically annual basis. Even after having to wait over a decade for the group to be—err, born again—there’s not an end in sight, especially considering the fact that Stryper recently put out its lockdown masterpiece, Even The Devil Believes, which you just might get to hear some of on this tour.
