Every now and then, CL previews a concert that ruffles feathers, be it due to its political nature or the notoriety of the performing artist’s reputation, but here’s one performance that is sure to offend almost nobody (unless you think the Beatles are overrated.) Ona Kirei (pictured), a vocalist from the Iberian Peninsula, takes the mic in front of a formidable quartet—drummer Jean Balduc, bassist Joe Porter, pianist Pablo Arencibia and guitarist Dominic Walker (also pictured)—for This Bird Has Flown: A Jazz Tribute to the Beatles.
