Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo bring their multi-platinum rock hits to Clearwater

The last time the duo graced a Tampa Bay stage was back in 2021.

If you’re expecting to hear the recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Pat Benatar and her husband perform “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” Thursday night, lower your expectations.

Last summer, the 70-year-old classic rock songstress omitted the track from her setlists completely, due to the seemingly-daily occurrence of mass shootings in America. We’ll miss hearing it, but honestly, let the song’s absence at Ruth Eckerd Hall on Thursday night be the worst thing that happens for the rest of the year—or for that matter, ever.

Ruth Eckerd Hall describes the husband and wife duo having “undeniable chemistry” and a “unique sound.” Tickets for this week's performance—happening on Thursday, April 27— start at $53.25 and are still available for purchase on the venue's website.
