Although Best Buy might not top the list of cool, Tampa Bay-area music venues, that may soon change. Last night, modern pop/rock group Selby followed the success of a recent in-store promotion by metal band Disturbed with a well-received live performance of their own. Performing from the center of the Best Buy Music Instruments department, the band cranked out tunes for nearly two hours with both fans and store patrons in attendance. Given the success of this, and previous promotions, Best Buy may well become one of Tampa Bay's newest live music destinations. (R - frontman Bahnz Selby, pic by Jeff O'Kelley)
