This morning, St. Petersburg record store Planet Retro Records was burglarized.

UPDATE: St. Petersburg's music community has come together to organize a benefit show at the Local 662 on Friday Aug. 12. Details are available here.

The store — located at 2414 Central Avenue — posted photos today along with this message: “We were broken into last night. They stole cash, turntables, and a bunch of other items and destroyed the back room and behind the counter...God bless St. Petersburg."
