Let’s face it: we’re all worried about the future of the planet. Isaac Eiger has just managed to beautifully capture some of that anxiety on tape. The songwriter with an affection for apocalyptic indie-rock brings his band, Strange Ranger, and its new album, Remembering the Rockets, to this Monday night gig at legendary downtown Tampa dive bar The Hub. Get in the mood with a few heavy-pour whiskey and Cokes before Eiger & co. take the stage after opening sets from local outfits Photo Fire and Rilian.

Strange Ranger w/Photo Fire/Rilian. Mon. Sept. 9, 9 p.m. No cover. The Hub Bar, Tampa. Aestheticized.com.
