Can’t wait to get to church this Sunday? Well, wait no more because Maverick City Music is playing Tampa's MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre on Saturday, June 4.

The praise and worship collective hasn’t hit the five-year mark yet, but has already made major airwaves across contemporary Christian radio stations.

Following the success of last year’s “Welcome to Maverick City” tour—which had four stops in Florida—the group behind “Wait On You” has tapped Kirk Franklin, a more experienced name in the field to co-headline during what appears to be its Tampa debut.

If you attend, just do us a favor, and don’t be an asshole to the ushers, OK? It ain’t what Jesus taught ‘ya.

Jonathan McReynolds opens.
