Gainesville’s Thunderclap is back in town after playing New Port Richey’s Monufest in October.

The CL favorite and doom-rock trio opens for D.C. “prog punk / psych sludge” outfit Caustic Casanova at this West River venue that’s proving to be one of the best places to see diverse acts, both national and local.
The show also marks the first gig for Tension Electric, a new project from singer-songwriter Jeff Brawer, Phil Stanwick and Russ Jovin. Tampa math-rock outfit Path of Increased Difference fills out the loud lineup.
