Every year, Sarasota hosts the Harvey Milk Festival, a multifaceted music and arts celebration of America’s first openly gay elected official, and it always features an all-day concert in its agenda.

For its 11th iteration, Harvey Milk Festival welcomes Los Angeles-based indie-pop act Rituals of Mine, Seattle’s indie-rock band Moon Palace and Sarasota electro-synth act MeteorEyes lead the 2020 lineup.

Other Florida-based bands on this all-day show show set for May 9 at Sarasota’s JD Hamel Park—located downtown at 199 Bayfront Dr.—are Roxx Revolt & the Velvets, Soulpaz (stylized “SOULPAX”), Emmanuelle Sasson, and Tampa’s own Jordan Esker & the 100%.

The event is free to attend and kicks off at 2:20 p.m. with a message from HMF Founder and President Shannon Fortner. VIP tickets—which let buyers meet the band—can be had via eventbrite.com.
