Sci-fi meets hard rock at The Sword’s Ybor City show

UMA opens the Tuesday-night Orpheum gig.

The Sword is what happens when a hard-rock lyricist melds a love for fantasy and science fiction with an adoration of Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. The doomy metal quartet from Austin, Texas plays in support of its 2018 album, Used Future, at this Ybor City show where another Austin band (UME) opens the show.
