Scranton punk-rock mainstay The Menzingers return to Ybor City on Mother's Day

The Menzingers have come a really long way since starting as a punk band from Scranton—and it'll show off that progress when the band plays Ybor City on Mother's Day.

Its latest, From Exile, is a follow-up to 2019’s heartland rock-based Hello Exile. We’re not saying that the band predicted the COVID-19 lockdowns, but it’s a fun conspiracy theory to throw around. Whether you believe that or not, the band has been back on the road ever since safety measures were loosened up last May, and for the first time since November 2019, Tom May and friends are back in Ybor City. Also, please don’t try and prove a point that The Menzingers were once an emo group; even isthisbandemo.com specifically dubs it as punk.
