Grammy-nominated singer Liz Phair has dropped out of her slot opening for Alanis Morrisette on the Jagged Little Pill 25th anniversary tour—and that includes a show at Tampa’s MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre on Aug. 17.
Spin says indie-singer Cat Power—who last performed in Tampa Bay in 2019—is taking Phair’s place.
The Exile in Guyville-singer cited “unforeseen circumstances” as her reason for leaving the tour and also gave a “shout out” to Morrisette, Power and Garbage, who are now slated to play Tampa this summer as part of the rescheduled U.S. tour. Tickets for the Tampa show are currently on sale, and previously purchased tickets will be valid for the new date.
