So, Kenny Chesney played a surprise free show at a 300-capacity Tampa venue last night

He showed up to play with Old Dominion, and they're all doing it again Saturday at Raymond James Stadium.

Kenny Chesney fans got a surprise dose of the good stuff on Thursday night when the country superstar showed up to play with Old Dominion at Crowbar in Ybor City.

The group was playing a surprise pop up show at the 298-capacity venue ahead of iits Saturday gig with Chesney at Tampa's much larger Raymond James Stadium.

Crowbar owner Tom DeGeorge has yet to reply to a Creative Loafing Tampa Bay regarding details on how Chesney landed at his bar, but last night on social media DeGeorge posted video of Chesney's surprise Tampa performance, captioned "I can keep one helluva secret."
