Welcome To Planet Zero is what happens when an instrumental space-rock band gets sick of recording its practices on a Zoom recorder and links up with Black Keys Productions’ Daniel Gentry who spent eight hours recording the sounds of grown men who ate too much turkey in the days before hitting the studio (Zerobabies recorded the EP on the Saturday after Thanksgiving).

The band headlines Alienstock, a festival that plays off all that “Storm Area 51” nonsense, with two sets, including one that features special guests.

Alienstock St. Pete w/Zerobabies. Sat. Sept. 21, 7 p.m. No cover. St. Pete Side Lot, St. Petersburg. INFO.
