I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again: Steve Miller Band is one of—if not, the best—nostalgia acts you’ll ever see live.

Most of the early, psychedelic material featuring Boz Scaggs goes unacknowledged these days, but if the Gangster of Love’s sold-out stop at Ruth Eckerd Hall is anything like his show at the Hard Rock last year, Tampeños are in for a nostalgic treat that shines a light on an almost-80-year-old (!) who can still shred and belt out lyrics like there’s no tomorrow, without the aid of flashy clip shows behind him.

Tickets to see Steve Miller Band play Clearwater's Ruth Eckerd Hall on Thursday, March 23 are still available and start at $73.25
