Not sure how Summer Salt ended up making its brand of “coral reef rock” by living in Texas, but the band built around high school friends Matt Terry and Eugene Chung is finally coming back to Florida, where it belongs, after skipping Tampa on a 2018 tour that only hit Orlando.

The band announced a 30-date summer tour today, and it stops at Orpheum in Ybor City on July 17 (The Abbey in Orlando gets the other Sunshine State show on July 16). Tickets to see Summer Salt support an oldies and bossa nova-influenced 2018 album (Happy Camper) are on sale now for $17-$30.

Los Angeles’ Dante Elephante and New Orleans rock and roll band Motel Radio open the show. More information is available via foryourfriends.net.

Listen to Happy Camper below, and let’s figure out how to throw a pre or post-show pool party.
