It’s been 15 years since Taking Back Sunday played 97X’s Next Big Thing at Coachman Park, but the the New York emo group is bringing it back to Clearwater for the alt-rock radio station’s 97X BBQ festival on May 18.

The move is somewhat significant in that it sees the BBQ moving back to Coachman where 97X staged its Next Big Thing festival until 2005.

Also on the lineup for the 97X BBQ 2019: Blue October, Flora Cash, Shaed, Oliver Tree and Matt Maeson.

Tickets are $35, and they go on sale today. More information is available via 97xonline.com, and if you’ve got no dough (and are 18 or older), then you can volunteer.
