His Hem: Bishxxp His Hem showed up in CL’s live music listings a few times in 2018, but the band’s album flew under our radar until we asked for submissions before trying to corral the best local releases of the year. Well, here’s our ode of gratitude to the Gods of “loud, gay, harp music” that sent Bishxxp this direction. The 18-song tracklist initially makes the effort hard to lock into, but repeated spins of the hour-long album (plus gorgeous pop meditations “Dying Dove” and “Come Alive”) have been some of our favorite moments of December.
