Tampa Bay emo, dream-pop and punk get mixed up at Hooch and Hive’s Friday concert series

It’s no cover at the downtown hangout.

Last week saw Hooch and Hive kick off its Friday local music series with an eclectic mashing together of rock, hip-hop and salsa, but this week’s installment is a little more specific thanks to the booking of guitar-based rock bands that play anthemic emo (Spork), catchy dream-pop (Planet Loser) and lo-fi stoner-punk (Wave Coast). There are no-cover shows happening pretty much every night this week, and this is one of them.
