Tampa Bay hip hop duo Blac Soap releases a safe sex video in honor of World Aids Day (video included)

After some quiet time writing and recording new material, Tampa hip hop duo Blac Soap [pictured right] returns to public consciousness as they prep a new album, Thug Hippy Thriller, which is due out early next year. The duo — made up of emcees/vocalists Seif and Fly Beads — has dropped a new music video for the first single, "Raw Sex In The Hood," with a twofold goal: to promote their forthcoming release while advocating safe sex just in time for World AIDS Day this Wednesday, December 10. The track combines old school-style turntablism with hip pop hooks and Blac Soap's black humor in such verses as "Time ticks, tick tock / waiting for results from the doc / what he said made your heart drop / 'cause there's no cure for what you got ... He lost, she lost / that doctor bill gonna cost ..."

Check out the video for "Raw Sex In The Hood" after the jump.
