✔️ Ulrey Family Fundraiser w/Permanent Makeup/DieAlps!/Same Day Delivery Orchestra/Alexander and The Grapes/DJs Scott Imrich & $teph Money Keith and Susie Ulrey saw their own van torched in January when a neighbor’s Seminole Heights home was destroyed by a fire. That vehicle was pretty critical considering the fact that it had a wheelchair ramp which helped Susie — who has multiple sclerosis — get around town. The couple, which has long been at the helm of beloved Tampa indie-rock label New Granada Records, has been slowly repairing their home and keep insisting that their neighbors need more help than they do. But a shitload of Tampa musicians, DJs and indie retailers have still banded together to throw a fundraiser for two of the Bay area music scene’s most active participants as they continue to get back on their feet. New Granada-affiliated bands (experimental punk outfit Permanent Makeup, CL-faves DieAlps!, BOTB-winning instrumental-pop ensemble Same Day Delivery Orchestra and an active-again Alexander & the Grapes) provide the tunes for the party, which kicks off at 3 p.m. in Ybor City. TLC You may have been bummed about TLC’s cancelled St. Pete show (an “I Love the ‘90s” tour featuring Coolio, All-4-One and Sugar Ray’s Mark McGrath), but feel free to chase waterfalls with the ‘90s R&B icons (minus Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, R.I.P.) when the group plays Busch Gardens’ ongoing Food & Wine Festival. The concert is included with admission, and you’ll have to pay extra for VIP viewing. (Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival, Tampa) INFO

✔️ Sykes Chapel Concert Artist Series Finale w/Philadelphia Brass The 2017-2018 season of the Sykes Chapel Concert Artist Series concludes with a performance by the Philadelphia Brass, which NPR’s Martin Goldsmith called “one of the gems of Philadelphia’s cultural life.” This 2 p.m. show is free, open to the public and set to take on American music by Jennifer Higdon, Aaron Copland, Duke Ellington and Frank Loesser among others, all inside of UT’s gorgeous Sykes Chapel. (Sykes Chapel at University of Tampa, Tampa) INFO

DMC Tampa DJ Battle The World DMC Championship has been crowning the world's best DJ for more than three decades now, and the champion of this Tampa qualifier will advance to the U.S. final. Expect two-minute routines in the prelims before the top six duke it out with six-minute routines in the final. Would-be competitors should check online for details, and the rest of us will enjoy the show (Crowbar, Ybor City) INFO

✔️ Harry Allen & Friends Celebrate the ‘Four Brothers’ Sound Expect an all-star tribute to the sound of the saxophone when the Tampa Jazz Club brings Harry Allen to recreate the glory days of Woody Herman’s “Four Brothers,” the saxophone section in his famed Second Herd, which wowed listeners beginning in 1947. Think tenor and baritone harmonies (or just listen to The Candy Men). Joining Allen at this gig will be NYC studio man and former SNL band member Lew del Gatto, University of Central Florida Jazz Studies Director Jeff Rupert, UCF baritone saxophonist Saul Dautch and more.
