✔️  Ether w/Vacancy/Leviathan Cross/The Virgin Birth As 2018 unfolds, Vacancy will spend a week playing shows in Florida, Alabama and Georgia. To kick off the mini-tour, the Bay area punk trio will play songs from its 2017 cassette (Empty Head, out now via Dead Tank Records) where frontman Elliot Mayo clutches the mic with both hands while letting out anxious, angry and sometimes lonely wails whose pain can only be matched by the volume of the noise-rock that guitarist Christian Costello and drummer Derek Stephan deliver in short, violent waves. Ether, a Fort Lauderdale doom and sludge metal four-piece headlines this show where Tampa’s Leviathan Cross and The Virgin Birth play support. (Microgroove, Tampa) INFO
