Because Travelin' McCourys and the Daniel Johnston tribute cancelled.

✔️ = Critic's Pick

Editor's Note: Two two shows we detailed below were cancelled after we went to print. There's still plenty to do in the also playing section below, so we've added critic's pick parks to a few that we'd like to check out.

C Travelin’ McCourys The Travelin’ McCourys are pretty much a bluegrass version of a royal family (the lineup is about 80 percent of the Del McCoury Band). Ronnie McCoury (the oldest son of Del) rose to fame in the early 1960s as part of Bill Monroe’s band, but as bandleaders he and his younger brother Rob break a few of the genre’s rules in the outfit that arrives to burn it down at Skipper’s on Sunday. (Skipper’s Smokehouse, Tampa) CANCELLED

✔️ Walking The Cow: A Pre-Tribute Celebration of the Music and Songs of Daniel Johnston w/Oak Ramble/Kayla Korpics/Ronny Elliott/Gypsy Star/Jason Frilot/Mwiza E. Simfukwe/American Song Box/Thrift Store Revolution/Acho Brother/Stick Martin Daniel Johnston’s daily battles with mental illness keep him from seeing fans on tour, but the 56-year-old songwriter endures. We’d like to think part of it has to do with the endless happiness the 56-year-old’s songs have given fans, and we’re thrilled to see nearly a dozen of Johnston’s Bay area admirers coming together to pay tribute to their hero while also raising money for the Shriner’s Hospital for children. Show starts early (3 p.m. doors, first band at 4 p.m.) and it’s a $10 cover for the kiddos. (Ringside Café, St. Petersburg) CANCELLED
