Two very different kinds of worship happening.

✔️ Corrosion of Conformity w/Crowbar/Weedeater/The Obsessed/Mothership This won’t be the same kind of Sunday service that TobyMac delivers at Amalie, but Orpheum will be filled with worshippers of the riff all ready to headbang at a show that pretty much features an all-star lineup of Southern metal bands. Psychedelic, grimy blues (Mothership, from Dallas) will play well alongside the kooky antics of Weedeater’s Dave Collins, old-school metal (Crowbar, from New Orleans) and headliner Corrosion of Conformity, which closes out with a set guaranteed to leave your ears ringing and face smiling, too. (Orpheum, Ybor City) INFO

TobyMac w/Jeremy Camp/Ryan Stevenson/We Are Messengers/Aaron Cole Toby McKeehan amassed a gigantic following as a member of Christian trio DC Talk, and if you don’t believe us, then see the huddled masses at this Sunday show at Amalie Arena. The 54-year-old is relentlessly positive, but 100-percent transparent, when he talks about the challenges of being unafraid to embrace and encourage true diversity (of ideas, cultures, and political ideologies) within his own family and fanbase. We spoke with him ahead of the gig, and you can read our Q&A via cltampa.com/music. (Amalie Arena, Tampa) INFO
