✔️ The Zombies w/Liz Brasher It’s been just over a year since The Zombies were in Clearwater, but the British invasion band’s 2019 visit finds the outfit fresh off the news that it is now part of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Now made up of Colin Blunstone, Argent, guitarist Tom Toomey, drummer Steve Rodford and bassist Søren Koch, The Zombies also arrive in Clearwater under the watchful eye of Emmy Award-winning cinematographer Alan Sterling Deutsch, who is helping develop a documentary about the band. Fat Possum-signee Liz Brasher opens the show, and you can read our interview with Blunstone here. (Capitol Theatre, Clearwater) INFO

✔️ Beer Garden Sessions Anniversary w/Leslie Lieblein/Rebekah Pulley/Eliana Blanchard/Anisette Mayer/Courtney Plummer Happy first anniversary to Crowbar’s no-cover songwriter’s showcase. Beer Garden Sessions is tapping Bay area folk-scene queen Rebekah Pulley to headline this all-woman bill, and the soon-to-be-open Cass Street Deli is staging a vegan matzo ball soup pop-up at this Tuesday-night affair.
