We’ve detailed Fubar’s closing show over and over again for the last week, and there were more New Year’s Eve concerts than we could fit into print in our latest issue. Look below to see to see the full rundown which includes everything from folk, to EDM, to blues, to singer-songwriter fare and everything in between.

We’ve detailed some recommended shows and listed the rest.

Smell ya Never Again: Mosquito Teeth w/Slade & Wasters/Sonic Graffiti In the grand scheme of the Bay area local music scene, Fubar’s final show ever is the most important thing going down on New Year’s Eve. (Fubar, St. Petersburg) INFO

The Hip Abduction w/Passafire The Hip Abduction has become one of the Bay area’s most successful exports, and it stages a hometown show for world-pop lovers of every stripe who’ll dance into 2019 underneath the stars at the Jannus Live courtyard. (Jannus Live, St. Petersburg) INFO

The Sh-Booms Tampa Armature Works has a full day of programming from the kiddie balloon drop in the daytime to the fancy gala at midnight. Kudos to whoever’s booking bands, too, since someone was savvy enough to score a set from Orlando garage-soul outfit The Sh-Booms. The outdoor concert is free to attend. (Tampa Armature Works, Tampa) INFO

Damon Fowler w/TC Carr and Bolts of Blue This set from revered Bay area bluesman Damon Fowler is what living in laidback Florida is all about. If you’re just looking for some seaside R&R, then this head to Ka’Tiki. (Ka’Tiki, Sunset Beach) INFO

Marvel Years w/Bells and Robes/DJ Blassafrass Our New Year’s resolution is to 86 wook jokes when it comes to writing about EDM, so here’s the last ode to our forest people comes at the hands of Cory Wythe, who is the producer and live instrumentalist better known as Marvel Years. There are some other great dance music events happening (shoutout: Bonnie and Clyde, Hyde Park Café and The Movement Sanctuary), but this one has all the feel-good festival vibes our little spunyon hearts desire. (Crowbar, Ybor City) INFO

Rock and Soul at The Hub New Year's Eve w/Mes McDonald/DJ Silence Rock and Soul is already the divey dance party that wrecks our Tuesdays once a month, so why not do it even bigger as we say goodbye to 2018 alongside DJs Silence and Mes McDonald. (The Hub, Tampa) INFO

UNFUN NYE And if you need some emo in your life, then the UNFUN DJs have your back in St. Petersburg at this NYE edition of their party. (The Bends, St. Petersburg) INFO

Gloria West & The Gents The Coliseum is easily one of the most nostalgic, and romantic, venues in Tampa Bay, and it'll be filled with jazzy, bopping sounds of the 1920s when Gloria West & the Gents headline this swanky get down. (Coliseum, St. Petersburg) INFO
