Tampa songwriter and former Groves frontman JT Brown is playing new songs when he headlines the Attic at Rock Brothers along with Bay area songwriting patriarch Will Quinlan, whose set will be an overview of the catalog that he as his many phases — solo and with his bands The Holy Slow Train and Vesper Bell — have built over the years. BOTB-winning bandleader, cellist Melissa Grady, takes the stage with Quinlan, which means that his delightfully-dreary drawl will pack extra punch.
JT Brown w/Will Quinlan. Thurs. Oct. 3, 8 p.m. $15-$20. The Attic at Rock Brothers Brewing, Ybor City. eventbrite.com.
