The bio says Seattle, but Golden Gardens has some deep ties to Tampa Bay thanks to the time Aubrey Bramble spent at long-shuttered, Ybor-based music magazine REAX. Bramble now lends ghostly vocals to Golden Gardens, and she brings the dreamgaze trio to her old stomping grounds in support of a new single, “Desert Rose,” where Carl Germain has laid down layers of dreamy synth that wouldn’t be out of place in a David Lynch movie. Kate Swan’s Fjshwjfe project plays support on this Tuesday night goth-pop party.
The show is one of two homecoming-esque bookings for Hooch and Hive, which is playing host to a St. Petersburg native, soul singer Kendra Morris, over the weekend.
