Bronx-turned-Tampa rapper Mike Mass has been preparing to release his new Mad Love EP obsessively in the last week, and it all comes to head with his album release party at Hooch and Hive on Friday.

What's more is that this release from one of Tampa's most gifted lyricists has been nearly a decade in the making.

The GMF veteran and Wave Theory big brother has been to Dunedin, Tampa proper, and The Florida Cup, all as a part of his “Road To Release” run of shows.
It’s finally time to hear what Mass—named one of CL's 22 Tampa Bay rappers to watch in 2022—has dreamed up, and he won’t be alone. Emcees Shyheim Nwadiei and In’telleq are on the bill, as well as indie pop-punk band Peace Cult, and DJ Casper.
