Ronny Elliott has been entertaining Tampa Bay for a long while now and always comes through with what he describes as “hillbilly soul music from the lower right side of the U.S.” The country-folk singer’s songs go from the humorous (“Elvis Presley Didn’t Like Tampa”) to political (“No More War”), and you can hear his heart in whatever he’s singing.

It’s been a minute since Elliott has played out, so the free BBQustic show will be a great time to check in with one of the local music scene’s OGs.
