A Friday night art show at Tampa’s Independent Bar & Café is billed as a celebration of strong women (Katye Waddle, Sydney Brown and Milli Misa are all showing), and if you’re not ready for NDO’s debut EP (IDC, due on the same day as this show), then you might want to hit play on the Bay area soul-pop singer’s “You Know Betta” video, where she enchants viewers against multi-colored backgrounds while Thundercat-meets-the-club production from Rugawd thumps in the background.

NDO plays the tunes at this performance that gets started early enough to get you into some of the other excellent local shows happening on Friday night.

Juice: A Summer Art Show About Respect, Power & Credibility w/NDO. Fri., Aug. 2, 8 p.m. No cover. Independent Bar and Café, Tampa. INFO.
