UPDATE: Taylor Swift confirms August 14 Tampa show at Raymond James Stadium — here’s how to have a chance at a ticket

Her new single also says, “I don't trust nobody and nobody trusts me,” so there’s that.

While you were sleeping, the new, very-polarizing Taylor Swift made good on teaser videos for a new single, and while we could TMZ the shit out of the lyrics for “Look What You Made Me Do” (ooooh, she’s mad at Kanye and Katy), what’s more interesting is Swift’s partnership with LIve Nation and Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program which will allow fans a chance to beat scalpers to tickets for Swift’s upcoming tour supporting a forthcoming album (Reputation, due November 10).

UPDATE: Taylor Swift has confirmed a Tampa date (August 14, Raymond James Stadium) and one in Miami (August 18, Hard Rock Stadium). Registration to have a stab at earning a chance to buy the best seats ends November 28. Details here.

And if you believe your Ticketmaster account, then you can pretty much count on Swift, who played Raymond James Stadium on Halloweem 2015, to bring that tour to Tampa.

But there is a catch.

“[The] collaboration between Live Nation and Team Swift gives fans greater access to buying concert tickets while cutting out scalpers and bots and likely increasing Swift's bottom line,” Billboard wrote.

Apparently, fans who register on taylorswift.com can enter the “Taylor Swift Tix” portal where they can pick a city and have the "opportunity to engage in unique activities that advance your spot in line."

Those unique activities include watching videos, and yes, shopping at the Taylor Swift store.

In fact, purchasing the album actually gives you the “greatest boost” according to the ticket portal. You could also “post photos and engage on social media” if, you know, you’re trying to figure out how to sell all your belongings to actually afford a ticket.

Registration for the “Taylor Swift Tix” portal ends on November 28, so you better get on it Swifties. Watch the video below for more deets.
