Dale Watson
“Ameripolitan” inventor Dale Watson has some of the realest country music out there (although, he claims he broke up with country last decade).

With over 30 years of experience and over two dozen records under his belt, you could easily say that he is one of Austin, Texas’ favorite sons.
On Thursday, the 59-year-old and his band, the Lonestars, are back at Skipper's Smokehouse in Tampa for the first time since 2019, but be warned: The singer who gave you “Where Do You Want It” publicly announced in December that he is unvaccinated, but willing to test before every event. We can only hope that he was drinking when he wrote that. After all, he lies when he drinks.
