Texas punk band Xetas recently went from a trio to a duo, and it’s going to try and see how its set supporting a new album, The Cypher, sounds backed by a drum machine at this sweet-ass record store show where one of the Bay area’s best punk bands of 2019 (Joyeater) plays alongside youngin-driven rock and roll band Charles Irwin, which has already logged more miles than many bands thrice its age.
