The Dropkick Murphys' long sold-out St. Petersburg concert finally happens next week

It's not too soon to start celebrating St. Patrick's Day, right?

Bummed about Canadian Celtic rock band Off Kilter's December split? Here's your chance to catch a more punk, and Americanized version, which just dropped a new album, Turn Up That Dial , last year.

Opening for the Dropkick Murphys at Jannus Live in St. Pete on Monday, March 7 will be a Poli van Dam-free version of The Bombpops, Celtic punk pirates The Rumjacks, and self-described “blue-collar Americana blues troubadour” Jesse Ahern.

This show is fully sold-out, but if you really have a hankering for Celtic rock, Dunedin usually has something Celtic going on. And it's 10 days before St. Patrick's Day anyway, so just start partying earlier.
