The five-night St. Petersburg Jazz Festival kicks off on Tuesday

Kicking off Tuesday, the five-night St. Petersburg Jazz Festival features sets at Palladium Theater, St. Pete College, the Warehouse Arts District, and the gorgeous Museum of American Arts and Crafts Movement.

Highlights on the schedule include Helios Jazz Orchestra with Alexis Cole, bassist Mauricio Rodriguez, pianist Markus Gottschlich, plus southern “Gypsy jazz” band Hot Club SRQ.

Ticket prices vary, but there's no cover for the Friday, April 5 show with Brazilian jazz outfit O Som Do Jazz with Latin Grammy-winning composer Jose Valentino Ruiz and drummer Rafael Pereira. Subscribe to Creative Loafing newsletters.
