The Smashing Pumpkins play Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida on July 25, 2018.
Two of the most prominent rock bands from the '90s will come together this fall for a tour that's headed to Tampa.

Tickets to see The Smashing Pumpkins and Jane's Addiction play Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida on Friday, Oct. 7 go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 13 at 10 a.m. and start at $42.25.

Viral YouTuber-turned-pop-star Poppy opens the show, and the gig is just one of two happening in Florida (the other is at Hollywood's Hard Rock Casino on Oct. 8).

Billy Corgan (who once shopped at Daddy Kool Records' old Central Avenue location) hasn't brought the Pumpkins to Tampa Bay since a 2018 performance at Amalie in front of 8,000 fans

It's also possible that this is Jane's Addiction's first local performance since it was at the old Ford Amphitheatre (now MidFlorida) on a 2009 tour with Nine Inch Nails.
The Smashing Pumpkins haven't put out any new music since 2020's Cyr, but have promised to release fresh material this year.
