At 105-feet tall, complete with 61 bells, 147 lights, six miles of wire, and a keyboard to control it all, there is no local musical instrument like University of Tampa’s Ars Sonora.

For Halloween, the school and curator Josh Cessna, invite the public to gather on the south side of UT’s courtyard near the Sykes Chapel for a concert including holiday classics like “This is Halloween” from the movie “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” Saint-Saens’ “Danse Macabre,” and Bach’s “Toccata and Fugue in D minor.”

And yes, Cessna is taking requests via email ([email protected]).

Tickets to see the Ars Sonora play songs from "The Nightmare Before Christmas" at Sykes Plaza at University of Tampa on Tuesday, Oct. 31 are free.
