With only two albums under his belt—the last one dropping over 30 years ago—it’s remarkable that rapper Tone Loc is able to put on a full show with that amount of material. But he can, and he'll do it next week when Tone Loc plays Largo's Central Park Performing Arts Center on Wednesday.

One of the 56-year-old hip-hop pioneer’s last gigs before COVID-19 happened actually went down at Gasparilla Music Festival, when he kicked the weekend off. Joining the “Wild Thing” emcee is fellow ‘90s nostalgia rap group Tag Team.

Just pray that the duo doesn’t do its dessert-based rewrite of “Whoomp! (There It Is)” seen in those Geico commercials.
