A few shows on this Wed., Jan. 28.

Banditos You can hear shades of both ZZ Top, Georgia Satellites and Drive-By Truckers in the muscular grit-stained roots rock and raw Southern blues boogie of Banditos, a Birmingham, Ala. six-piece freshly signed to Bloodshot Records and on tour amid putting together their debut full-length, which is due out sometime this year. (New World Brewery, Ybor City)

Napalm Death & Voivod with Exhumed, Iron Reagan, Black Crown Initiate, Ringworm A crushing double-header of 1980s-spawned Century Media Records talent featuring UK death/grindcore vets Napalm Death (which hit town on the heels of releasing 15th studio album Apex Predator – Easy Meat) and Canadian thrash/prog metal four-some Voivod. Like-sounding acts support. (State Theatre, St. Petersburg)
