Blackbear w/24hrs/ELHAE/Lil Aaron Soundcloud sensation Blackbear has packed a brand new LP in his suitcase (Digital Druglord, released less than two weeks ago) and the Bieber, G-Eazy and James Blake collaborator is bringing it to Ybor City where fans will be ready to eat up the soulful, trappy stylings of songs like Druglord single “Do Ray Me.” The producer — whose real name is Matthew Tyler Musto — is more of a chart-topper than trouble maker, so parents shouldn’t be weary of letting their kids go unchaperoned to this one. Meatwound visits The Event Horizon on WMNF 88.5 FM Most of you are in your pajamas by midnight, but that doesn’t mean you can’t tune into Tampa Bay’s WMNF 88.5 FM to hear Tampa noisecore guys Meatwound on The Event Horizon, an eclectic free form radio show that devotes half of it’s four-hour block to playing new and unheard of independent, alternative, underground music. Host Ira Hankin will play a session recorded by WMNF’s Alastair St. Hill (host of Grand National Championships), and the Meatwounders will select music for the majority of the show. Wake your ear holes up by previewing the band’s new LP, Largo (out on Friday via Magic Bullet Records), which they’ve described as “ungodly sonic devastation across 12-inches of murky purple vinyl.” (WMNF Community Radio, Tampa) INFO
