Tonight in live music; MIRA fall showcase, NOBUNNY, Tales From The Quilt and more

Rock & roll rabbit rampaging.

MIRA Fall Showcase An October music feature showcased some of the behind the scene work of St. Petersburg College students enrolled in the school’s Music and Recording Arts program (MIRA), but this show will shine a light on the actual sounds that the kids are creating as part of the curriculum. Expect some healthy mix of covers and originals, but be prepared to be jealous of students who get to bust tail in pursuit of industry dreams all under the guidance of one of the most caring faculties in Florida. Tales from the Quilt w/Eve Caballero/Ann Morrison/Steve Garland/more Close to a dozen Bay area songwriters come together for a benefit performance that celebrates the lives of those honored on the AIDS Memorial Quilt. Proceeds will benefit Metro Charities who are "committed to providing quality health and wellness services that are inclusive, relevant, supportive and represent the lifetime continuum of the diverse people in our community." NOBUNNY w/Wolf-Face/The Cowboys Is there room in your Monday night for a demented songwriting rabbit with a twisted rock & roll heart? Any extra space for four St. Pete teen wolves? Then you might want to go to Ybor City tonight where NOBUNNY will work through blurry performances from modern garage rock gems like Love VisionsRaw Romance and a live album released on Third Man Records. (New World Brewery, Ybor City) INFO
