Tonight in live music; Tegan and Sara, Pet Shop Boys, Flavor Deluxx anniversary, Micah Schnabel and more

Burritos and bars. Bars and burritos.

Tegan & Sara w/Torr Grammy-nominated twin sisters, Tegan and Sara Quin have long reigned as one of indie-pop’s more exciting outfits, and a new single “Stop Desire” does not make any headway in revoking that status. It’s synths and sweet, 80s melodies make us all excited, and we hope the ladies play a whole lot from their new LP, Love You To Death, at this show. (The Ritz, Ybor City) INFO

Flavor Deluxx Three-Year Anniversary w/Mike Mass/Aych/Achilles the Conquerer/Mowgli/Mic Deluxx/Wally Clark/Beyobe Depending on how you know him, Mic Deluxx is either the burrito whisperer of Ybor City or one of Tampa's most unsung emcee. Either way, you get to experience both tonight as he celebrates the third anniversary of his progressive taco stand (curry, mango salsa, and Flavor Deluxx's infamous Black P**** sauce are regular flavors on the menu). Mr. Deluxx will rock the mic alongside Bay area favorites Mike Mass, Aych and more, then he'll rock a food stand alongside other vedors like Stay Humble Clothing and Debonair District. (Crowbar, Ybor City) INFO

Micah Schnabel w/Brandon Barnett Two Cow Garage frontman Micah Schnabel is no stranger to these parts, and he'll be all over the place today since he'll be hitting community radio station WMNF 88.5 FM for an on air performance and interview before his headlining free show at New World Brewery.  (New World Brewery, Ybor City) INFO
