Sorry.

✔️  The Growlers w/Glove ¿Los Growlers en el Orpheum? Si, por favor. UPDATE: Actually, this show is off due to an illness frontman Brooks Nielsen is battling (we hope it isn't related to the illness that caused an October 5 cancellation in Indiana) . Refunds are available at point of purchase. The band and promoters have issued this statement:

As Brooks heals from bronchitis, we regret to inform you that we must cancel tonight’s Tampa performance. Unfortunately, Brooks is in no condition to perform and is not allowed to do so under doctor’s strict orders. We are so very sorry as we were very much looking forward to kicking off our long-awaited return to Florida with you tonight. We’ve been touring Florida for years. We will make it up to you. We will return. Again, thank you very much for your kind words, support and understanding.

Almost a decade after their 2009 debut LP (Are You In or Out?), it’s safe to say that The Growlers can be considered beach goth pioneers, and if you need proof, then just have a look at young bands in your local scene that specialize in the born-in-a-garage, reverbed, classic rock and country-rock sound frontman Brooks Nielsen plus guitarists Matt Taylor and Kyle Straka pioneered on classics like 2010’s Hot Tropics and 2014’s Chinese Fountain (the purists still won’t buy into last year’s Julian Casablancas-produced City Club). One of those young bands — St. Pete’s own Glove — plays its second show ever at this sure-to-be-sweaty Ybor City show. (Orpheum, Ybor City) CANCELLED
