Tough to pick from 60-plus acts over two days? We asked some people in the know: WMNF programmers, who not only told us the acts they’re most looking forward to that aren't The Hold Steady (who perform Saturday night at 10:30 on the Mainstage), but also shared their fondest Heatwave memories.

LEE “FLEE” COURTNEY
(It’s The Music, Mondays 1-4 p.m.)

Fondest Heatwave Memory: “So many, but seeing punk/new waver Graham Parker stands out.”
Tampa without WMNF or Heatwave: “We’d be Fort Myers. Nice weather, but boring.”
Last Words: “See you there. I’ll be the one in tattered clothing.”

MICHAEL BAGLEY
(Bodyrock, Wednesdays, 1-3 a.m.)
Most Anticipated Act Not Called The Hold Steady: bree (Sat., 9:40, Cantina)
Fondest Heatwave Memory: “Sebadoh, Further, Against Me!, Tampa hip-hop legends Red Tide, and the year they had poetry at Crowbar.”

Tampa without WMNF or Heatwave: “I always told myself that as long as I lived in Tampa, I’d be involved with the station. I cannot imagine Tampa without WMNF, and I can’t imagine WMNF without Heatwave.”
